Vita discovered yoga by chance while taking some time off from college to adventure through India: “The practice instantly answered to a longing in me, and I was hooked.” Upon returning to Portland she began studying with Tiffany Cruikshank with a specialty in sports medicine and orthopedics, and thus her love of yoga continued to grow. Vita’s sense of adventure and curiosity has led her to places near and far, and she is excited to be a recent transplant to Oakland. Her classes are guided by a strong anatomic focus, sequenced in order to work deeply into muscular structures and release patterns of imbalance.
Her vinyasa classes cultivate strength, depth, and balance, and challenge you to reach your potential. Expect to work hard, sweat, smile and move in deep. By linking movement with breath we become more present to who and what we are, we increase mindful awareness, acceptance and gratitude.
