Gracie attended The National Holistic Institute in Emeryville, CA, the first nationally accredited massage school in California. Gracie is a certified massage therapist (CMT) and has been in practice for six years now. Upon graduation in 2011 she completed an additional 450 hours in the advanced neuromuscular therapy program at NHI in 2016. Her concentration is now in the clinical aspects of massage, focusing on the realignment and rehabilitation of the body. Gracie incorporates both eastern and western techniques, such as trigger point therapy, deep tissue, swedish, and shiatsu massage, to customize the therapy that her clients need. She has experience as an independent contractor at Turtle Integrative Acupuncture clinic in Berkeley, CA, The Network Chiropractic Center in Oakland, CA, and now at Rise Bodyworks in Alameda, CA. Gracie believes that touch therapy is a healing art dating back many centuries ago. She helps relieve stress and tension from everyday living that can lead to illness and disease with her understanding of alternative medicine.
